Meet Jared Powell:
A Passion for Justice, A Love for Wisconsin
For Jared Powell, the law isn’t just a profession—it’s in his DNA. From the age of 13, he began volunteering at his father’s law firm, getting firsthand exposure to the legal world and quickly developing a passion for helping injured people.
Jared carried that passion with him through college at the University of Wisconsin, where he fell in love with the state’s people, values, and way of life. He graduated and accepted a law school scholarship, earning his Juris Doctor Degree from Santa Clara University School of Law, graduating a semester early in 2018. Even after he returned to his hometown of Las Vegas to begin practicing law, Wisconsin never left Jared’s heart.
As a trial attorney, Jared built a reputation for taking on powerful insurance companies and holding negligent parties accountable. Since entering practice, Jared has overseen more than $215,000,000 in total settlements for his clients. He’s dedicated himself to fighting for those who need it most, treating his clients like family—because for him, the law is a family business.
In 2024, Jared made the decision to return to Wisconsin, a place that has shaped him during his college years and beyond, to fill a critical need in the legal community. He saw a gap in aggressive, client-centered legal representation for injury victims, and knew he could make a difference. With that, Badger Injury Law was born—a firm built on strength, integrity, and a relentless pursuit of justice.
